"Samantha was one of the best employees I have ever managed. She is creative, energetic, organized, intuitive, a team player…and the list goes on. Now, to give you some specifics, when we first hired her she stepped in to a newly created role as the design-to-sales liaison for a sister publication we produce. Prior to this new position and Samantha’s arrival, there tended to be quite a bit of tension since the relationship was long distance — every communication was either by telephone, email or fax. For this particular publication, we produce 40 ads on average per week (in addition to our larger weekly). Samantha did an excellent job in this position and was an asset to our organisation during her tenure with the office. Samantha worked as a part-time temporary graphic designer for ORR Design Office. Samantha was an exemplary employee and a highly creative designer. She was responsible for conceptualizing and designing several entirely new in-house promotional projects, including logo design, branding, layout, typography and image editing. In all of these projects, Samantha performed exceptionally. She was dependable, highly organized, very creative and professional. Her design work was always insightful, dynamic and polished. She had strong communication skills and took direction and critique very well. If ORR Design had a permanent position available, we would not hesitate to re-hire Samantha — we wouldn’t even bother interviewing others.
